KUNMING, China – On November 18, 2025, the scheduled international all-cargo air route from Kunming Changshui Airport to Istanbul, Türkiye, successfully commenced its inaugural flight. This landmark route is jointly operated by Yunnan Nanbowang Logistics Technology Co., Ltd., a subsidiary of Hawei Supply Chain Group, alongside other key partners including Heishi Yunnan, Yunnan Jinmingxiang, and China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd. Yunnan Branch.

The launch of this route establishes four significant milestones for international cargo routes at Kunming Changshui Airport: the longest-range scheduled all-cargo flight, extending the reach of air cargo services; the first scheduled all-cargo route to connect Eurasia; the route with the highest single-flight payload capacity; and the first scheduled international dedicated cargo route for cross-border e-commerce.

Operated by Turkish cargo airline MNG Airlines using Airbus A330 freighters, the route boasts a substantial single-flight payload capacity of 60 tons. With a planned frequency of four flights per week, it primarily transports high-value goods such as apparel, footwear, and headwear, and fresh flowers from Yunnan. Future expansion plans include carrying cross-border e-commerce commodities, precision instruments, and other diverse product categories. As a core co-operator of this route, Yunnan Nanbowang Logistics Technology Co., Ltd., leveraging the integrated capabilities of Hawei Supply Chain Group in cross-border logistics, integrated warehousing and distribution, and supply chain finance, has partnered with China Postal Express & Logistics Co., Ltd. Yunnan Branch to establish a highly efficient, stable, and extensive air logistics channel spanning Eurasia. The launch of this route not only significantly expands Yunnan's air logistics capabilities towards West Asia and Europe but is also projected to substantially boost the international cargo and mail throughput at Kunming Changshui Airport. This development further elevates the level of trade facilitation for cross-border activities in Yunnan. In recent years, Yunnan's air cargo sector has experienced rapid growth. From January to October 2025, Kunming Airport operated 8 international all-cargo routes, connecting major cities across multiple countries including India, Bangladesh, and Pakistan. The airport's international cargo and mail throughput reached 57,400 metric tons, a notable year-on-year increase of 54.5%. The full-year 2025 international throughput is forecasted to exceed 70,000 metric tons, potentially facilitating over RMB 8 billion in foreign trade value.
Looking ahead, Havi Supply Chain Group will continue to deepen collaboration with strategic partners, including China Postal Express & Logistics, to further expand the all-cargo route network. This expansion will solidify Kunming's status as a national air-port type logistics hub and advance Yunnan's position as a regional hub oriented toward South and Southeast Asia. The Group is dedicated to constructing more efficient and seamless aerial bridges, empowering the "Yunnan Products Going Global" initiative while enabling smoother access to high-quality international products for the Yunnan market.
