Xinjiang, China – Jiuding Hawei Trading Co., Ltd., a joint venture established by Hawei Supply Chain Group and Xinjiang Jiuding Supply Chain Management Co., Ltd., recently held a signing ceremony with Azerbaijan’s ERT Agro LLC at the Xinjiang Jiuding Agricultural Products Wholesale Market, marking the successful conclusion of a banana export agreement. The two parties signed initial export deals covering three truckloads of bananas. This milestone represents a significant step in Hawei Supply Chain Group’s global agricultural supply chain expansion and further strengthens its presence in Central Asia and the Caspian Sea region.

Innovative Dual-Route Transport Model Enhances Cross-Border Efficiency
As a key component of Hawei Supply Chain Group’s strategic deployment, Jiuding Hawei has pioneered a “dual-route transport model” that effectively serves markets along the Caspian coast and deep into Central Asia. Utilizing the “TIR international road transport + localized clearance” model and leveraging the China-Kazakhstan agricultural product green channel, the system enables “priority inspection and non-stop cross-border transit.” This has cut transport time by over 12 hours compared to conventional methods, while maintaining a spoilage rate below 1%, demonstrating Hawei’s expertise in cross-border cold chain logistics.
Successful Expansion of the “Two Countries, Dual Parks” Model
This cooperation extends Hawei Supply Chain Group’s “Two Countries, Dual Parks” integrated procurement model across regions. Following the success achieved in April of this year—when China-Kazakhstan fruit and vegetable trade achieved “24-hour delivery with a 15% reduction in per-container costs”—the model has now been replicated in the Caspian region. This further validates the adaptability and scalability of Hawei’s supply chain solutions in diverse trade environments.
Establishing a “Southeast Asia – Xinjiang – Central Asia” Industrial Chain
By integrating resources from the Urumqi Jiuding Market and Azerbaijan’s Alyat Free Economic Zone, Hawei Supply Chain Group has built a seamless industrial chain covering “cultivation in Southeast Asia – consolidation in Xinjiang – distribution across Central Asia.” The bananas covered under this export agreement are sourced from high-quality production bases in Laos, Myanmar, and Guangxi, China, and are transported to Xinjiang via the “Tianshan Number” cold chain railway for sorting and onward export.
Scaling Up Trade to Build a Central Asian Hub for Fruits and Vegetables
Under the current development plan, Jiuding Hawei will commence shipments in the near term and aims to export no less than 200 truckloads (approximately 4,000 tons) of bananas to Azerbaijan by 2025. The company also plans to gradually introduce high-value tropical fruits such as mangoes and dragon fruit. These efforts will help establish Xinjiang as a core hub for China’s fruit and vegetable exports to the Caspian region.
Strengthening Global Layout with Overseas Warehouse Expansion
Hawei Supply Chain Group has signed supply agreements with multiple cross-border enterprises and plans to set up overseas warehouses in Kazakhstan to further reduce transfer costs and improve logistics efficiency. Supported by the ongoing policy innovations within the Xinjiang Pilot Free Trade Zone, this new trade corridor is expected to sustain steady growth in the import and export volume of agricultural products.
Transitioning from “Sourcing Nationwide for Xinjiang” to “Sourcing Globally for Central Asia,” Hawei Supply Chain Group remains committed to building an efficient and stable international agricultural supply chain system. The latest collaboration with Azerbaijani partners not only expands Hawei’s business network in Central Asia but also sets a new benchmark for cross-border distribution of Chinese agricultural products. Moving forward, Hawei will continue to deepen its global footprint and enhance the international competitiveness of Chinese supply chain enterprises.
