On May 21, the 8th Western China International Investment and Trade Fair opened at the Chongqing International Expo Center, with Hawei Supply Chain Group making a spectacular showcase with its exhibits. At the concurrently held "Vietnam-China (Chongqing) Trade and Investment Promotion Conference," the group's subsidiary Lingwei Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd. officially signed a strategic cooperation agreement with 001 Fruit Co., Ltd. General Manager Nguyen Thi Meiwei and General Manager Zhao Hongwei of Hawei Supply Chain Group signed the agreement on behalf of both parties.
HAWE Supply Chain Group set up a special booth in the N1 Vietnam Pavilion exhibition area, systematically showcasing the group's procurement network, processing service capabilities, and logistics solutions for the new land-sea corridor in core production areas in Southeast Asia, South America, and China. The booth attracted numerous domestic and international merchants to stop and exchange, fully demonstrating the group's full-chain supply chain service strength from production to sales sites.
At 2:30 p.m. that afternoon, the Vietnam-China (Chongqing) Trade and Investment Promotion Conference was held in Conference Room M204, 2nd floor, North Zone Exhibition Hall of the Chongqing International Expo Center. Ye Lina, Deputy Director of the Chongqing Municipal Commission of Commerce, presided over the meeting. Nguyen Xing Shengxin, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade of Vietnam, Xu Jian, Deputy Mayor of Chongqing, and Bui Yuanlong, Consul General of Vietnam in Chongqing, each delivered speeches. At the subsequent signing ceremony, Chongqing Lingwei Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd. and Vietnam 001 Fruit Co., Ltd. officially signed a cooperation agreement.
According to the agreement, both parties will complete a $100 million fresh durian trade cooperation within the next year. Chongqing Lingwei Supply Chain Technology Co., Ltd. will leverage the global resource advantages of Hawei Supply Chain Group and combine with Vietnam 001 Fruit Co., Ltd.'s 30,000-square-meter modern warehousing and processing system in the core production area of the Mekong Delta to achieve full-chain connectivity from Vietnamese orchards to the Chinese market. Vietnam 001 Fruit Co., Ltd. holds food safety and hygiene certifications and export qualifications. Its durian products now cover southern border provinces in China as well as major cities and coastal areas in northern China. This cooperation will further strengthen the strategic synergy between both parties in the durian supply chain.
In terms of logistics support, both sides have deeply integrated the advantages of road-rail intermodal transport and road transport, building a three-dimensional logistics network covering the China-Vietnam border. Goods can reach Vietnam's Dong Dang port by rail, seamlessly connect to China's Pingxiang for lifting and distribution, or choose full road transport, directly connecting to five major Chinese ports: Hekou, Tianbao, Shuikou, Puzhai, and Youyiguan, quickly reaching core consumption areas such as Central China, Southwest, and Northwest.
This signing marks another important strategic move by HAWE Supply Chain Group. In the future, the Group will continue to deepen its ASEAN supply chain network, participate in the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" agricultural product trade corridor with a more open attitude, and bring more high-quality Southeast Asian fruits across mountains and seas to reach Chinese consumers' tables.
